Tillwise Reports provides private reporting and analytics tools for Square merchants. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect merchant and customer data.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as name, email address, shop name, login metadata, and role. We may also process merchant reporting data, including sales records, item names, categories, customer names, customer contact fields, transaction dates, and uploaded CSV files or connected POS data.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, generate reports, provide customer support, improve product reliability, monitor usage, secure the platform, and communicate about account or service updates.

4. Customer Data

Merchant customer data is treated as private business data. We do not sell customer lists or use merchant customer data for unrelated advertising. Customer data is processed to create reports, exports, insights, and operational tools requested by the merchant.

5. Product Analytics

We may collect first-party usage analytics such as page views, sessions, button clicks, report views, upload events, export downloads, and active time. These analytics help us understand whether the product is working and where support or improvement is needed.

6. Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to host, store, authenticate, and operate the product. These may include Supabase, Railway, GitHub, Square, and related infrastructure providers. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authentication, private repositories, server-side access controls, and restricted service keys. No system is perfectly secure, so merchants should limit access to authorized users and protect login credentials.

8. Data Retention

We retain account, upload, reporting, and analytics data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve issues, or maintain business records. Merchants may request deletion or export of their data where applicable.

9. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or with a merchant's authorized users and representatives.

10. Your Choices

You may request account updates, access changes, data export, or deletion by contacting the Tillwise Reports operator. Some data may need to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as Tillwise Reports evolves. Material updates will be reflected by changing the date above and, when appropriate, notifying active users.
